Mountain engagement sessions always hold such a special place in my heart, and I am absolutely thrilled to share this stunning Canmore mountain engagement session with you all today. There are two big reasons why I’m especially excited about this one. First, the couple – let me tell you, these two are some of the kindest, most genuine people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. Their connection is undeniable, and it’s clear to see how deeply they care for each other. Second, I am beyond grateful that they chose me to capture such an important moment in their lives. To be entrusted with documenting their love story is truly an honor, and I don’t take that lightly. This session was a dream come true, and I’m so excited to share it with you.

We started the day with a bit of an adventure. Our first stop was their family cabin, a place full of warmth and memories. The intimacy of this setting made it the perfect place to begin their engagement session. From there, we made our way to the Engine Bridge, which offered a stunning backdrop of the surrounding mountains and the winding river below. But the cherry on top – the location that I always keep a bit of a secret – was the final stop in the session. This hidden gem of a spot offers sweeping views of the town of Canmore, framed by the breathtaking peaks that make this area so magical. It’s one of my favorite locations, and it never disappoints.

Pets are Always Welcome

One of my favorite things about engagement sessions is when couples bring their pets along. Pets are part of the family, and they add such a beautiful and unique element to the day. I will never turn away a beloved pet from a session – I’m even a cat person myself (so, if you have a cat, we’ll definitely be best friends!). L & D brought along their adorable pup, and let me tell you, she was an absolute star. People couldn’t help but stop and comment on how gorgeous their dog was. It was so heartwarming to see how much she added to their day. One of my absolute favorite images from the session is a moment where their pup is looking on while L & D danced – it’s a quiet, yet so beautiful moment that perfectly encapsulates the love and joy of the day.

I am such a fan of bringing your pet to your engagement session. They are a part of your family and add such an element to your story. I will never say no to an animal that you love, even cats are okay with me (I have one so we will be best friends if you do). L & D has such a beautiful sweet pup. Beautiful Mountain Engagement Session

L & D’s love for each other is so evident in everything they do, and it was truly an honor to capture that connection. This couple had to postpone their 2020 wedding, but I’m beyond excited that I get to capture their big day this year. It’s going to be such a beautiful celebration, and I can’t wait to be part of it. Their engagement session was effortless – they were so natural together, and every moment felt so genuine. Even when I asked L to twirl for the hundredth time, she gave it her all, and the joy between them was palpable. It was clear that their connection runs deep, and it made every shot so special.

The timing of this session couldn’t have been more perfect. After so much anticipation, I was overjoyed that their engagement session landed on a beautiful summer evening in the mountains. The light, the landscape, and their energy made it feel like the stars had aligned. It was the perfect evening, and I’m so grateful to have been able to capture these memories for them.
